EmergencyDispatcherPro offers scenarios such as rescues from ditched airliners.

In a fun live stream, I was joined by Matt from Miravia Softworks for a first look at his upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator add‐on, Emergency Dispatcher Pro. Matt walked us through the features he’s building and guided us through two immersive search‐and‐rescue missions using Miltech's MH‐60T helicopter in different U.S. Coast Guard liveries.

The first mission launched from Joint Base Otis in Massachusetts, where we responded to a downed ATR turboprop airliner. Flying out over freezing waters, we located survivors and transported them to a nearby hospital. For the second mission, we switched to a Kodiak‐based livery and headed into beautiful live-weather conditions in Alaska to investigate an overdue vessel. After locating rescue craft already on scene, we eventually found the missing ship—thankfully with no emergency to report.

Matt spent a generous amount of time answering audience questions about the scope of the project. At launch, EmergencyDispatcherPro will focus on U.S. bases, reflecting the extensive guidance he’s received from the U.S. Coast Guard to ensure mission realism (though the product is not officially endorsed). The add‐on will include elements of casualty and patient‐needs management, adding an extra layer of depth to rescue operations. While future mission types may expand over time, the initial release will center on search‐and‐rescue scenarios.

I was impressed with Matt's candour and his desire to survey a variety of real-life SAR experiences to make this a compelling add-on experience. And I'm excited to imagine what it will be like paired with the eagerly awaited MH-65 helicopter from Taog's Hangar.

EmergencyDispatcherPro is expected to be priced between €20 and €39.99, with a planned release in or before Q2 2026. In the meantime, you can visit miraviasoftworks.com to join the Discord server and participate in the open beta.
